The entry-level CSCS card for general construction work. This is where most people start their journey on-site.

What You Need

  • Operatives Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) Test — mandatory for all CSCS cards
  • Choice of: Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment (Online Portfolio, or Classroom Based)

What's Next

Once you're working with your Green card, most people move toward a Blue Skilled Worker card by completing an NVQ Level 2 in their trade.
