SMSTS — Site Management Safety Training Scheme

The industry-standard qualification for construction site managers, covering the legal and practical responsibilities of managing a safe site. Required for most site management roles and a step toward a Black Manager CSCS card.

Entry Requirements

None formally required, though this course is aimed at those in or moving into a site management role.

How It Works

A 5-day CITB-accredited course, available online or in the classroom. Your certificate is valid for 5 years.

Leads To

A core requirement alongside your NVQ Level 6/7 for a Black Manager CSCS card.
